🧟 Your zombie workers are mining different resources from the minerals, and gold is one of these resources.

💰 You can spend gold to hire new workers or to upgrade your mineshafts and increase their production capacity.

🟨 Keep an eye on the mineshaft progression bar (yellow indicator), it will be gradually moving to show your current mineshaft level and how much you can upgrade it with your current gold stock.

➕ Besides the bar, you can see how many levels are available to upgrade and how much it costs: this information is available under the progression bar.

💰 You can upgrade your mineshaft level by level or wait till the bar is full.

⚡ When your mineshaft progression bar is full, you will get Essence for mineshaft upgrading — a pleasant perk indeed!
